NSW: One woman dead, another critically injured in house
SYDNEY, Dec 19 AAP - Police are looking for three cars after one woman was found dead
and another critically injured in a house in Sydney's west.
Police were called to a house in Langland Street, Wetherill Park, at about 8pm (AEDT)
on Friday after reports that two women had been injured.
They found one women dead and another with critical injuries, who underwent emergency
surgery overnight.
A post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the identity of the dead woman
and the cause of death.
Police are seeking the occupants of three cars they believe may be able to assist with
inquiries: a 1985 white Holden Commodore station wagon with Queensland registration plates
433-KGZ; a 2005 silver Holden Commodore station wagon with NSW registration BD-26-EQ;
and a 2006 black Volvo sedan with NSW registration SB-54-AN.
Fairfield Local Area Commander Acting Superintendent Peter Brooks says police are seeking
public help to find the vehicles.
Police are appealing to anyone who might have been in Langland Street on Friday night
and saw any suspicious activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
