WATERVLIET -- Geno Anthony Ferritto, 73, died Saturday afternoon at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy following a brief illness. He was born on April 14, 1926 in Troy and was a son to the late Carlo and Claudina DiGeronomo Ferritto. He was raised in Troy and was educated in St. Anthony's School, Catholic Central High School and the men's division of Russell Sage College. He was an Army veteran and had served his country in World War II and with the peace keeping forces in Korea. On June 30, 1951 he was married to his beloved wife, Crestina DiDomenicantonio Ferritto at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Watervliet.
