Qld: Search for missing diver off Tweed Heads
An air and sea search is under way for a missing diver off Tweed Heads on New South
Wales' border with Queensland.
A rescue helicopter has joined the crews of two volunteer marine rescue boats in the
search around Friday Reef, near Cook Island, for the missing man.
Police say the man had been snorkelling with two companions, but didn't surface after
making a final dive by himself.
The alarm was raised at 12.20 pm (AEDT).
