NSW:Two more NSW council areas disaster zones
Two councils in central New South Wales have been declared natural disaster areas by
the state government, after weeks of heavy rain.
Police and Emergency Services Minister MIKE GALLACHER says the Lachlan Shire and Parkes
Shire Council areas have suffered extensive damage from the rain, hail and strong winds.
A total of 15 local government areas in the northern and central New South Wales have
now been declared natural disaster areas due to recent bad weather.
